Definition:

Plagiarism is the act, whether intentional or unintentional, of obtaining or attempting to obtain recognition for scientific work by quoting part or all of another party's work and/or claiming the scientific work as one's own without properly and completely citing the source.

Therefore, the following provisions apply:

Submitted manuscripts must be original works, previously unpublished, and not currently under review at another journal. Information or material obtained orally from other sources must be clearly cited to distinguish it from the main text. If plagiarism is proven, the Editor-in-Chief will review the manuscript and determine the appropriate action based on the severity of the violation, in accordance with the following guidelines:

Level of Plagiarism:

Minor: Copying a few short sentences from another article without citing the source.
Action: The author is given a warning and requested to revise the manuscript and properly cite the source.

Severe: Copying a significant portion of another article without properly citing the source.
Action: The manuscript is rejected for publication in the Jurnal Keperawatan Akper YKY Yogyakarta, and the author may be subject to sanctions, including a ban on submitting manuscripts to this journal in the future.

Since all authors have signed the Jurnal Keperawatan Akper YKY Yogyakarta Publication Ethics Statement Form, all authors are responsible for the content of the submitted manuscript. If it is proven that the submitted manuscript is also being submitted to another journal, either during the review process or after publication, action will be taken in accordance with point 2 above. If other forms of plagiarism are found beyond the aforementioned provisions, the editor has the right to impose sanctions in accordance with the editorial team's policies.
