Hubungan Dukungan Sosial Teman Sebaya Dengan Resiliensi Akademik Pada Mahasiswa Keperawatan Tingkat Akhir
Abstract
Background: Final year nursing students often experience stress when working on their thesis. So students need high academic resilience. Academic resilience is very important to help overcome problems and peer social support has been shown to play an important role in increasing academic resilience through emotional, informational, instrumental and appreciation support.
Objective: To determine the relationship between peer social support and academic resilience in final year nursing students at STIKes Guna Bangsa Yogyakarta.
Method: This study used a descriptive quantitative method with a correlational design and a cross-sectional study design. The population in this study were final year nursing students who were working on their thesis. The research sample consisted of 50 respondents taken using the total sampling technique. The measuring instrument used was a questionnaire. The analysis method used was the Spearman rank correlation test.
Results: The results of the analysis with the Spearman rank correlation test obtained a p-value of 0.000 (<0.05) with a correlation coefficient value of 0.616 which means it has a strong relationship.
Conclusion: There is a significant relationship between peer social support and academic resilience in final year nursing students at STIKes Guna Bangsa Yogyakarta.
